Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey, PhD has eulogized the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu on the occasion of his birthday.
He joined other well meaning Nigerians to felicitate the Gov on behalf of his family, the good people of Yache Nation, Management and staff of the State Ministry of Education.
Senator Odey extolled Gov Otu’s virtues especially for his sterling leadership acumen in piloting the affairs of the State and his passionate resolve to move the State to its Eldorado. He described Gov Otu as a man of few words but more at work, who has achieved so much in few days on assumption of office as Gov of Cross River State with his pragmatic and visionary leadership.
In a statement, Senator described Sweet Prince Otu, the Gov as a man of impeccable character who has entrenched integrity in his government by the gradual fulfilment of campaign promises.
Senator Odey also did not forget to thank God for the life of the Governor. He said, “I want to use this opportunity to thank God for the life of the Gov of Cross River State; he is gift given to us, the people of Cross River State by God himself.
“He has provided the pathway of sustainable development for Cross River State as he seeks to move her forward in all facets of developments”.
Senator Odey also prayed for the Gov, “May the good Lord bless him with all round season of sweetness on his birthday, and may his days be filled with joy, and your years full of many blessings”.
Finally, the Education Commissioner congratulated His Excellency and wish him a fun filled celebration.
